SNMP (v3) not working on 11.5.1 (hf10)

Hi all,

 

So for some reason, SNMP is not working at the moment. I can't seem to send traps to the target nagios server. SNMPv3 is configured in the gui, /config/user_alert.conf is empty and /etc/alert.conf looks good on first sight. I did a bigstart restart alertd and bigstart restart snmpd, but to no avail.

 

I tested it by turning a pool member on or off or doing a logger to the crit facility. Any ideas?

    Have you already tried to send an snmp v2 trap? For a test maybe just try this one: snmptrap -v 2c -c snmpcommunity IpOfYourNagiosServer '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.3.6.0.2
