Rebooting F5 GTM device ( 2000 series)

Can anyone suggest which is the best method for rebooting F5 GTM(2000 series) device. We have tried to get console connection on the device but there was no response from the device even after giving the proper console connection. From Digi terminal server 14ft ethernet CAT6 patch cable connected to the F5 adapter and adapter is connected to console port on the F5. Baud rate settings on console server: 19200-N-8-1-No.

Hello Steve Since our device is having large up time value due to this there is a chance that reboot will force file system check. Therefore it is recommended to logon to device through console.

Only two other things that I can think of. Check the baud rate. It is possible someone in the past set it to 9600 as many other devices use that (here is the procedure: https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/800/sol13885.html?sr=51678943). Otherwise do you have AOM setup? If so that is essentially console access via the management interface. I use that anytime I need console-type access.
