After going through the guide for F5 on AWS, I cannot ping the Elastic IP

I have gone through the document a couple of times, and when I hit "Connect" and then type in the ssh -i "aws_f5_march.pem" admin@52.73.38.5 or root@ -- it times out.

Ping 52.73.38.5 also times out.

    Hello TTF888,

Assuming the BIG-IP has successfully reported '2/2 checks passed', this sounds like a security group configuration issue. The example given in 'Creating New Security Groups' section of the guide below is wide open, so it should be refined for your environment.

    https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_ltm/manuals/product/bigip-ve-setup-amazon-ec2-11-6-0/2.html?sr=52198875

Can you ping any other guests that are using the same VPC?

The AMI-ID of the BIG-IP you are deploying and the AWS region may be helpful in troubleshooting.

I am only trying to ping public IP addresses and that doesn't appear to work. I checked my security groups. I have it set to All Traffic inbound and outbound 0.0.0.0/24
