BIG-IQ Managed LTM not removing message "Managed by BIG-IQ"

Hi all, I did an evaluation of Big-IQ with a LTM VE Instance. Everything was working fine except that I have now a status message in the top left which reads "Managed by BIG-IQ", this is not going away. I also removed the managed LTM VE Host from BIG-IQ but the message is still there.

 

 

So how can I remove this status message?

    BIG-IQ references can be manually removed from BIG-IP so that BIG-IP no longer reports that it is managed by BIG-IQ. This is accomplished by clearing REST storage on BIG-IP.

     

    On most BIG-IP versions supported by BIG-IQ, this can be accomplished via the clear-rest-storage command.

    On most BIG-IP versions supported by BIG-IQ, this can be accomplished via the clear-rest-storage command.

    Apparently, there appears to be a bug with the newest F5 BIGIP 12.1.3.2 and F5 BIGIQ 5.4.0.2. Namely, if you change the IP address of the F5 BIGIQ and rediscover, the 'Managed by BigIQ' information, such as the MGMT interface of the BIGIQ instance does not get updated. Of course, clear-rest-storage removes the notice, but it does not return during a subsequent re-import of the F5 BIGIP into BIGIQ. Very unstable behaviour for this feature.
