As far as I know there is no graphical edge client for Linux, so if you are using must be the command line (or browser but is different).
The only difference I see from the Linux i386 you said, is that Raspberry Pi uses ARM cpu.
However, the documentation does limit the type of CPU that it can be used.
The installation script is just a bash script that will work with any CPU, but I don't know if the other packages in the installation have CPU limitations.

I have a Raspberry Pi 1, I can give a try if does not work for you.
