Does BIGIP delete connection table immediately?

Hi guys.

I`m using BIGIP(11.5.4 HF2) forward virtual server 0.0.0.0/0 --> profiles rst-on-timeout disable / loose-initiation eanble(other configs are default from fastL4).

I

m curious about does BIGIP delete connection table
s through 0.0.0.0/0 when get fin packet?

Am I additionally config loose-close?

the reason I upload this question is follow

ltm snat /Common/OMWS-EIA_NAT { origins { 10.221.140.39/32 { } 10.221.140.40/32 { } 10.221.140.41/32 { } 10.221.140.42/32 { } 10.221.140.145/32 { } 10.221.140.146/32 { } 10.221.140.147/32 { } 10.221.140.148/32 { } } translation /Common/175.207.88.48 vlans { /Common/Front } vlans-enabled }

8 servers are communicate with other service using only 1 SNAT-IP and D-port.

when Capture Packet there are lots of Syn packet those of info tap`s are viewed TCP port numbers reused.

I`m curious two things.

  1. Does BIGIP delete connection table when get fin packet.

  2. TCP port numbers reused means --> port conflict and port changing.

etc) Source-port preserve-strict option is not comport with this service(It is similar to udp flow.)

  • Have you looked at K8082 for packet processing based on VS type ?

    F5 should delete connection when it sees a FIN. I didn't understand the 2nd question.

    Can you clarify if you are seeing a problematic behavior and what are you expecting to achieve ?
