iControl API for monitor F5 Load Balancer through the Solarwind monitoring system

We would like to monitor F5 Load Balancer through the Solarwind monitoring system. It uses the iControl API on the F5 to poll information. Our current appliance are now running on version 11.4 and 10.2.2. Please verify if the iControl API is available on these version.

    iControl API has been around for a very long time. But 10.2.2? I suggest you should be running 11.5.4 and 10.2.4 at the very least.

    Just curious: Why not using snmp for this?

    The iControl SOAP API has been around since version 4.0. It was redesigned during our migration to v9.0 and has been stable additive changes since that release. So, for 10.2.2 you should be good to go. The main thing to look out for is that you aren't using methods introduced on newer versions of the product and trying to call them on 10.2.2. Obviously since they were added to a later release, they wouldn't be on the older versions. Detailed info on methods added in each release can be found in the "What's new in ..." topics in the iControl wiki.
