Determine what are you actually logging Requests, responses, violations.....
Determine limitations of remote logging buffer size - this a per record limit that can be used in general for the size of all records because it will never be bigger than this. default logging profile maximum size is 10k
Determine volume of traffic logging Determine the how often and how many of each log you are generating over the time you expect to have to store it
