SSL VPN connection issue in a specific client

We are currently using SSLVPN with 12.1.2v HF1, The PC environment is using Windos10.

The output is the same as the image, and VPN tunneling does not work. It seems like an issue that occurs in Network Access after authentication.

The Network Access Diagnostic output looks like this:

INSTALLATION: VPN Driver installed IP Filter Driver installed RAS device for VPN installed Host DLL registration is OK VPN Dialer DLL registration is OK Urxhost.dll installed Urxdialer.dll installed

PINGs test: = 104.219.104.148 failed Loopback = 127.0.0.1 passed Google DNS = 8.8.8.8 failed Loopback = :: 1 passed Google DNS = 2001: 4860: 4860 :: 8888 failed DNS server = fec0: 0: 0: ffff :: 1% 1 failed DNS server = fec0: 0: 0: ffff :: 2% 1 failed DNS server = fec0: 0: 0: ffff :: 3% 1 failed DNS server = fec0: 0: 0: ffff :: 1% 1 failed DNS server = fec0: 0: 0: ffff :: 2% 1 failed DNS server = fec0: 0: 0: ffff :: 3% 1 failed DNS server = fec0: 0: 0: ffff :: 1% 1 failed DNS server = fec0: 0: 0: ffff :: 2% 1 failed DNS server = fec0: 0: 0: ffff :: 3% 1 failed Gateway = 10.64.192.1 failed DNS server = 8.8.8.8 failed HTTP Probe passed (http://cdn.f5.com/product/avail.txt) SERVICEs test: DHCP Client: Running Network Connections: Running DNS Client: Running RasMan Not installed F5 VPN driver: Running F5 Networks Component Installer Running F5 Networks DNS Relay Proxy Service Running F5 Networks Traffic Control Service Running F5 Credentials Management Service Not installed

When running the Troubleshooting app, FirePass Component seems to have an issue.

Can you tell me why? When running as Edge Client, after authentication The server connection has been terminated. With the phrase The login page appears again.

please, Help me

  • Hi,

    Could you post the VPE in order to see your assignment configuration? Could you enable APM Debug log and then check and post the session variables?

    Regards!

  • This is a phenomenon that occurs in all F5 SSL VPNs, not just one VPN. It does not occur in Pulse Secure SSL VPN.

    Therefore, I am not a VPE fault. This issue happens on my PC.

  • The answer is in the APM logs and session variables.

    Log in to the BIG-IP Configuration utility. Navigate to Access Policy > Reports > Session Reports > All Sessions.

    Click Run Report.

    Note: Enable APM Debug mode in configuration logs to obtain more information.

  • So you used the troubleshooting tool to remove all the F5 components and the try again to install the last version of Edge client from your BIG-IP right?

    The next move is create a new VPN Network Access for testing. Go to the wizard and put just the essential objects in order to authenticate yourself and then hit the resource assignment.
