Cannot ping or connect to the external virtual server, neither I can ping to the external interface on BIG-IP (vmware)

Hello,

 

I am trying to connect from my laptop to the 1.1 interface on the BIG-IP (in vmware), I am not sure if it is an issue with BIG-IP of with vmware

 

From my computer I can http and ping to the f5 management interface and to the internal network of the BIG-IP. However, I am having issues connecting to what is set as external network on the BIG-IP. My computer is in the same subnet 192.168.1.0/24 as the BIG-IP 1.1 external interface and the virtual server that holds the servers pool, but I cannot ping neither.

 

Should I set the VMnet0 in the Virtual Network Editor to Bridge? I tried it, but I obtain an error. Any suggestions on what should I check or change?

 

Also, how can I see or change the ip addresses in the interfaces on the BIG-IP, in case they are wrong?

    if you use bridge mode,you must connect network cable,other way ,you can create a new netowrk adapter,then you can use your computer access BIGIP 1.1 interface

    I cannot use a cable. Can you give me more details on how to proceed? The VM already has the network adapters as you can see in the previous picture.

     

    I really appreciate your help
