F5 301a...

Hi F5 buddy,

 

I failed the 301a on my first attempt. Could you guys share some tips or suggestion for this exam.

 

It is quite tricky and harder then before. Where can we find correct material for these

    Hi,

     

    Did you follow the instructor led training? The training manual is always useful to do the labs yourself.

     

    I took the 301a exam after the two intructor led training for "Administrating BIG-IP" and "Configuring BIG-IP". This way you have some extra knowledge of the BIG-IP which might be useful for the 301a exam.

     

    Also read the Operation Guide for LTM and follow the blueprint. Look at the objectives and try to find the information (answers) in the training manuals, support site, operation guides and DevCentral.

     

    It's my experience that, when I actively search for answers in preperation for an exam it sticks (in my brain).

    I like to take the Objectives and may my own Study Guide. As I do, I work with the subject matter using two F5 Lab Licenses. Not sure if F5 will be sharing, but the instructor of the 301a Lab at F5 Agility 2017 had a good PowerPoint and Lab Manual for us to walk though. This points again to researching the objectives and practicing the material (= knowledge).
