iApp service synchronization in a cluster

Hi,

I want to use the REST API to manipulate iApp services in a clustered environment.

When working in an iWorkflow cluster, do I need to call some sync functionality after creating or deleting iApp services?

If so, should this synchronization be performed between iWorkflow peers or between BIG-IP devices? Is there an REST endpoint defined to perform such operation?

Thanks, Marek

    Hi Marek,

iWorkflow expects to be working with an active/standy BIG-IP pair.

In this case when iWorkflow pushes changes to BIG-IP they are automatically synchronized on the BIG-IP cluster.

When working with an iWorkflow cluster changes are automatically replicated from one node to the other. It is recommended that you select one of the peers as your leader and interact with that node until it is not convenient for whatever reason. So, if you change an iApp Service or template that will automatically be replicated to the other members of the iWorkflow cluster.
