Priority for Weight/Score in topology record would be highest or lowest

Dear Experts,

 

While configuring topology records, I noticed that highest weight/score takes preference over low weight/score (both source and destination are same in the topology record, only difference is weight/score), however in the document it is mentioned that lowest would take precedence.

I configured it on BIG-IP DNS and notice as below

  • Hello Fozail , In the event that a name resolution request matches more than one topology record, the BIG-IP DNS system uses the destination object with the highest weight (score) to determine which statement it uses to load balance the request.link text

  • I experienced the same. It would be much appreciated if F5 would remove the wrong information. Thanks for confrming here what I found out as well.
