That should not impact your environment as long as you don't mess with the already configured VLANs and trunks.
When you create the new trunk interface, you will be able to add VLANs to it. After, you should create the new VLANs you want the vCMP guest to have and make then available on the new trunk interface. After that, you should enable these new VLANs to the vCMP guest.
All this should not have a negative impact on your system. Just be careful and double check your steps.
