  • Q. How can configured passwords be removed, and when is the password removal effective?

    A. Remove the password line in the corresponding .conf file and restart the daemons to access the router to make the password removal effective.

    Your

    .conf
    file should be located in
    /config/zebos/rd0/ZebOS.conf
for route domain 0. Change the the
    /rd0/
for a different route domain e.g. for route domain 5
    /config/zebos/rd5/ZebOS.conf

  • You have set your enable password using a hash: 8 - Specifies a Password-Based Key Derivation Function 2 (PBKDF2) with SHA-256 hashed secret.

You should have either omitted the 8 or specified 0 that the password is clear text - it would have been hashed anyway.

Try editing your /config/zebos/rd0/ZebOS.conf file directly to remove the line you added and restart Zebos
