script to force firepass logout?

Hi,

as usual i'm redirected here when the support has a lack of knowledge for specific/bad documented functions.

I have the following problem: we use a Sharepoing application portal, which is a webtop replacement (configured as an intranet webtop). When the user logs of the sharepoint,

calling a specific .aspx link of the application, the sharepoing closes the window. As there is

no firepass webtop, the firepass session is not logged out. I would like to make a script

to intercept this call to this specific logout .aspx and force a firepass logout. That should be post-processed, otherwise the user would log out of the firepass before logging out of sharepoint. Anyone could point me on some document or send me an example of that?

The only info i've got from support is to call the function "https://firepass.com/vdesk/hangup.php3" to do it. But for the rest...

Thank you

Alex

  • IT sounds to me like you are trying to write this code into Sharepoint? If I am understanding your question have you tried posting this question to the Microsoft support forums? I would think that calling an additional (Script/Link/URI) from within sharepoint would need to be done in the correct fashion. As this would need to be replicated to several pages plus any new content pages that are created. I realize this is not a answer to your problem but I am not sure you are asking in the right place.
