set static:: implementation in iRules

Question

Hi all,&nbsp;
since we need to add an additional port to our pool members, we need to replace the following static variable from:&nbsp;
set static::HTTP_PORT"8888"&nbsp;
to &nbsp;
set static::HTTP_PORT"8888, 8080"&nbsp;
where either 8080 or 8888 could be considered for this variable. Is this an option?&nbsp;

Why don you use instead a datagroup and the command class to look for valid values? https://clouddocs.f5.com/api/irules/class.html¬†
With datagroups you don't need to modify the irule if later on you need to add more ports.¬†

This is not a standard variable but used within your irule. &nbsp;
Without the whole irule code, we can’t answer to this question!&nbsp;
