Java RDP on Mac Java7

Has anyone else got problems with the Java RDP on MacOSX with the current version of Java7 (Updated today)?

Basiclaly, WIn7 seems to run it fine. Trying it on MacOSx logged in as the exact same user to APM and the Java starts and then closes... There's a message flashed up in the window really quickly, and I can't see what it says. The java console is fine. No exceptions or anything... It just lists the IP addres of the host it's trying to connect to. No connection ttempt is actually made... (Verified with a tcpdump at the BigIP and the firewall separating the BigIP from the RDP target).

I'm not sure whether it's a generic MacOS problem or perhaps the latest Java7 has broken the Java RDP app.

TIA

Let me change the question... Are there any fanbois out there for whom the Java RDP DOES work?

The error BTW says it can't resolve the client to connect to (Which is wrong, because it's the same error when you specify by IP, and the java logs shows the client it's connecting to resolved as an IP).

This is the Java RDP... (i.e. Configure an RDP remote desktop and tick the 'Java Client' option). This deploys a Java copy of the RDP application to the client. It works on M$. It works on Linux. It works on Mac OS X with Java 1.6... But as 1.6 is deprecated (And blocked) and you need Java 1.7, it FAILS to run... No obvious error, apart from the Java RDP client tries to resolve the hostname of the client and if it can't, fails there. If it can resolve it, it still fails later (But never tries to open a connection... i..e no traffic between the APM and the windoze client you're trying to RDP info).
