Need Irule for LSN POOL

Hi Team,

I'm having a scenario where, i need to exclude IP of .0 and .255 from the LSN Pool.

For example: If i have of LSN Pool of range 10.10.20.0/20. Then the irule script use all the IP between this range except the network (.0) and Broadcast IP (.255) such as 10.10.20.0 10.10.30.0 10.10.20.255 etc etc..

Assuming there is 15 Million connection using the LSN Pool.

And, What and how much will the CPU will be impacted ?

  • this might not be an answer you are looking for. anyway, what i did is to divide lsn subnet to smaller one which not including .0 and .255 addresses and put them all in lsn pool.

by the way, there is rfe but, as you may know, it is not yet implemented.
