cannot see iRules created by an iApp template

BIGIP LTM v11.1 HF4

 

 

iRule Editor 0.11.0.2

 

 

Current partition: /Common

 

 

I have a single iApp application service created in my LTM. I can see the iRule (in /Common/app-name.app) via the web GUI. But no iRules show up in my iRule Editor even though I can see the Configuration files (so I know I have a valid connection).

 

 

I can even see the ltm rule command in my bigip.conf via iRule Editor.

 

 

What am I missing?

    iRules created from within an iApp are created in their own "folders" and are not by default visible in the Editor. Try selecting the File.Partition.[All] menu item and see if it appears. I believe that will list all iRules from all partitions (or folders).
