Exchange/APM iApp v1.5.1 Error "requires rewrite profile with rewrite mode as portal for this assignment"

I have set up Exchange APM portals before but they are on older templates. (I have 4 sites with v1.2.0)

I wanted to start upgrading the templates so I created a new iApp for one of them. Even though I set it up almost exactly like the older ones, it won't work. I keep getting the error "010712de:3: Virtual Server (/vpn/webmail.abc.org.app/webmail.abc.org_combined_https) requires rewrite profile with rewrite mode as portal for this assignment."

I know what a rewrite profile is but I don't see any options in the iApp to configure one. I looked through the deployment guide to see if things changed dramatically since version 1.2.0 but I really don't see what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks for any help.

Misty

Hi Misty, that's an odd error message to be getting considering we don't do anything with portal mode in the iApp. Was the APM configuration modified after these were deployed?

The older ones are modified but this one I can't even create it. I get that message after I answer the questions and click "Finished" I even tried an older iApp 1.4.0 and still got that error message. I thought it was weird too

The apm access profile name is fixed ("exch"), so if you are running the new iapp on a device that has the older version running, there could be some interplay.

Misty, you should probably open a support case. Once you upload a qkview to iHealth, I'd be happy to take a look. It's nearly impossible to say what's going on without being able to see the configuration.
