SSL Mutual certificate support

Hi

 

 

Does anyone know if F5 LTM support SSL Mutual certificate? If so, how do you configure this function?

    Hi Peter,

     

     

    Are you referring to client SSL certificates? If so, LTM does support this. You can search on AskF5.com for the LTM configuration guide for your version to get details on configuring client cert validation using a client SSL profile (for client to VIP SSL) or server SSL profile (for LTM to server SSL).

    Hi Aaron,

     

     

    Yes, it is the SSL certificates. Thanks for the info I've already looked at the LTM guide but was unsure whether you could configure mutual SSL certificates within a profile or iRule.
