Viprion password reset not working

Ran into an issue over the weekend trying to add tacacs to a device. Firstly, the key had a "" in it, of which I later found out that I cannot use after reading a few articles. Naturally I thought it was going to default back to local UN/PW but I'm still unable to log in. I am trying to do a password reset but cannot get the device to comply. I followed (https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/4000/100/sol4178.html) but still failing. I'm looking at this screen and attempted to type "single" at the end of the syntax, but the device doesn't permit and locks up.

  • Yes. I can get into edit mode, but even after trying to put it after "quiet", it will not allow me to type the word single in line and the device actually freezes up.
  • Any takers? This is still not working for me.
