Mac OS client side checks - connectivity profile issues

I am configuring an APM policy to perform some client side checks. Windows checks are all working fine as the endpoint inspector loads fine. I am now trying to perform some MAC OS checks, firewall etc. When the MAC client connects to the F5 it prompts to download the client, this installs fine but then displays the following message:

Application update failed: PolicyServer pkg not found in server connectivity profile. Do you want to continue using old version?

I have a connectivity profile defined and assigned to the virtual server, and as far as I can see all the MAC OS options are included.

Has anyone else seen this before that can point me in the right direction?

Thanks

  • I am also seeing this issue? Has anyone been able to resolve this? thx.

  • Hi Nick - we also observed this issue. Older virtual servers oddly do not exhibit this issue with the same APM profile applied. Did you find a fix / workaround? We have a ticket currently opened with F5.

When EPS feature us enabled with Access Profile on VS, it seems required to apply Secure Connectivity Profile (same as default connectivity profile). In my environment, Access Profile and Secure Connectivity Profile are applied to VS, this message becomes not appear.
