websphere page wouldn't load properly. (.ccs, .png)

VSERVER configured for sphere with following configuration:

Client -> 443 -> F5- VSERVER -> 9446 -> BACKEND SERVER

Page wouldn't load properly with above configuration.. in capture I found 403 message coming when trying to request

 

 

But if I changed to VSERVER port same as BACKEND SERVER

    Hi AN,

     

    It looks like your last sentence may have been cut off. Are you saying that if you change the virtual server port to match the backend server port that the connection works? Or were you trying to say something else?

     

    Either way, typically I would expect the traffic to work even if you have two different ports configured for the vserver and for the pool members as long as the server is able to accept the type of traffic you are sending. Was the 403 coming from your backend server and being forwarded to the client by the LTM? Any extra information you can share would be helpful.
