OWA 1.51 iapp template, some problems with browsers other than IE

I have deployed the 1.51 iapp template, using APM as a proxy on my dmz based LTM, and on my internal LTM, deployed using the accept connections from the APM proxy option. I made modifications to the APM policy (using an LDAPS server rather than direct to AD for authentication, and branding changes to the login page) and everything seems to work pretty well. The problems I am having are that when using Chrome, or Firefox, or Safari on an Apple, or just about any mobile browser (Android or iOS device) I intermittently have cases where after the authentication has succeeded, the user gets a spinning wheel which goes on indefinitely, until the browser is refreshed, then all is well. If you then clear the cache, the problem reoccurs. I'm going to start testing various browsers, with developer tools etc to try and find what uri is trying to be fetched when this occurs. I was hoping someone else might have run into this and have a magic button I can click to fix everything :) All my LTMs are at 11.6.0 HF5. For my production environment, they run as VCMP guests on a 5250v platform. In my uat environment, they VMware virtuals running on ESXi 5.5 hosts.
