IE Crashes through APM (Portal Access) unless IE Dev Tools open

Hi All,

 

We have an Oracle application that we use through the APM module, when we access the app directly without any APM interference, the application works great and fast. When we put the APM module in the mix, the app actually crashes the browser when it retrieves some JSON information and tries to display it. The only way to prevent IE from crashing is to have the Developer Tools open. Does anyone have any idea what we could try? It's a rather large show stopper and affecting a large portion of our user base!

    Not really sure how to troubleshoot that. Can Microsoft offer any assistance about how to troubleshot their browser crashing?

     

    From what I've seen, Oracle "web" apps aren't really web apps. They rely on IE-only activex controls, custom data transport protocols, and other legacy technology that are difficult or impossible to reverse-proxy correctly.
