want to understand about GTM and DC-DR failover

Dear Friends,

 

I am new in F5 and my new company has 2 appliances one at DC and one at DR. they want me to test the DC and DR failover. however i have checked the configuration but i was searching a simple document for DC-DR (that would active passive kind of setup). here we have an exchange server at DC and same replica at DR side. what configuration i need to check( checklist and use cases for UAT) including dns server and all. and same GTM configuration i have to do for another vcmp instance.but for that i will take help from existing.

 

is that LTM is required when configuring only GTM and if want to use LTM on same box where GTM is going to configure, can do that?
