Exchange Push Issue witch APM

Hello

We have a Link controller which balances connections to a couple of APMs that are working with a similar configuration but on standalone mode.

These APMs send to connections to a LTM with OWA for Exchange 2003.

Push mail works when we connect an iPhone or iPad through the internal network. From tcpdump captures it looks as if the client is not keeping the TCP session activity.

But when using APM and Edge Client, Push mails doesn't work at all.

Is there any issue to consider to make it work?

Which kind of persinstence should I configure as the mobile device is changing its IP quite often?

Is there any way to configure persistence associated to the WiFi MAc o UDID of the device?

    Hi Manuel,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

What's the TCP timeout value set to for this sort of traffic? The default in the TCP profile is 300 seconds, but we recommend a higher timeout for Exchange 2010 traffic. The timeout value there is 7200 seconds, if memory serves.

As for your persistence method, I would suggest using an iRule to capture either the UDID or MAC address of the mobile device and build a persistence table with that value.
