  • Hi,

    If I try to illustrate connections it will looks like that :

    Client <-- 1 --> VS_F5 <-- 2 --> Server

    SSL Bridging means that :

    1. Connections between the Client (Browser) and the VS (F5) are encrypted via SSL (using SSL Client Profile)
    2. Connections between the VS (F5) and the server (node) are encrypted via SSL also (using SSL Server Profile)

    So "SSL Bridging terminates SSL at the F5 and then re-encrypts traffic on the server side by initiating a new SSL connection between the F5 and the Server."

    Hope it clarifies
