I was wondering, whether there is a more straightforward way to monitor MongoDB servers than using external monitors, or HTTP monitor that would query some server script that pools the DB locally?
There are monitors for MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, but not for MongoDB.

AltostratusHi there. I would prefer to avoid using external monitor, if possible.
CumulonimbusAs there is no built-in monitor for MongoDB, you will have to use an indirect way of health checking.
You might want to contact TAC and put in a feature request for a built-in MongoDB monitor.
