Hi
Take a look at Pool Priority Group Activation - https://techdocs.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_ltm/manuals/product/ltm-basics-13-0-0/4.html

Thank you Iaine.
Please correct me if I am wrong about the load balancing of the traffic between members when priority activation group is configured in the following scenarios
Scenario 1:-
=============
Suppose if we have 3 members in the Pool and have configured 2 servers with a priortity value of 10 and the remaining server with a priority value of 7.Here the minimum active members are set to 2 then if one server with priortity value of 10 goes down then the connections would be load balanced between the remaining one server with priority value of 10 and the server in the priority value of 7.
Scenario 2:-
=============
Suppose if we have 2 members in the Pool and have configured 1 server with a priortity value of 10 and the remaining server with a priority value of 7. Here the minimum active member is set to 1 then if the server with priortity value of 10 goes down then only the connections would be forwarded to the server with a priority value of 7, till the server with priority value of 10 becomes active.
Thanks,
Yugandhar.

Yugandhar,
- Yes
- I don't think so, because the connections are established with the before server, and i think that for the new server will come the just the new connections

Hi Dirome,
I didn't understand your 2nd point regarding the following scenario
Scenario 2:--
=============
Thanks,
Yugandhar.
