Web authentication in F5 LTM through LDAP

Question

Hello Guys,&nbsp;
I am working on a migration from Bluecoat SG to F5 LTM and there I have some issue for some services which are first being authenticated through LDAP in bluecoat SG then redirecting to the concern backend servers post successful authentication.&nbsp;
So can we have the similar web authentication configuration in F5 LTM , Please suggest and I am using I-rules for traffic redirection and forwarding. &nbsp;

I guess you can program your own code to perform LDAP authentication using iRules LX (https://devcentral.f5.com/articles/introducing-irules-lx-19888), but I think it's something stupid because the easiest way is to use APM which already implements this feature.&nbsp;
