How to make client's browser trusted with F5 Self-Signed Certificate

Dear All,

I need to use self-signed certificate on F5 for our SSL offload to our application. I have followed a guide Using OpenSSL to create CA and client certificates (https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K14499client). But from client browser still Untrusted. Do you know or have experience on this before? Please advice.

Thanks!!

Regards, Phaneath

  • Hi Phaneath,

If you want to avoid browser to prompt a warning one connecting to the VS where you are doing SSL offload you need to import the CA to the list of trusted CA by your browsers (IE, Firefox or Chrome).

You can find this procedure on the net. Tape "import root CA to IE" and you will get the "HOW TO"
