ASM on a VCMP guest on 5250V

Hi, we plan to do ASM in our VCMP guest on the 5250V platform. We are allocating 2 cores and 8 G to each guest on the 5250V. So we will have a max of 4 VCMP guests on it. We plan to do ASM on each guest. As per F5`s documentation, we should be good - http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_asm/releasenotes/product/relnote-asm-11-5-0.html

 

Has anybody run into any performance issues in doing ASM in a VCMP guest on a 5250V platform?

    Sandev,

     

    You may want to confirm this with F5 themselves or your local VAR. However, it is my understanding that the recommended configuration is to only configure 2 vCMP guests with ASM module provisioned (even though 4 are supported)

     

    I can't locate any resource to back this up I'm afraid. If you do make contact with f5 and this is confirmed (or not of course) then could you please post back with an update?
