vCMP HA Active/Standby but Disconnected

Hi All, I have 2 i7800 appliances on HA and I created 2 vCMPs in each of the HA pair running v13 and wants to have the vCMPs in HA using the existing VLANs defined in the Host.

After my configuration, the vCMPs are in HA Active/Standby but shows disconnected, I have looked at the system hwclock which lags 35-48secs. I have troubleshoot the HA configuration but can not get the issue resolved.

I have also reset the self certificate and still the issue persists. can someone please help out

  • Hi,

First of can you confirm that you have correctly configured the communication channels on eache device:

    • go to "Device Management ›› Devices"
    • Then click on your device (where you are).
    • at the top of the page you have tabs (ConfigSync, Failover Networ and Mirroring).
    • Be sure that you set on all tab the vlan that HA have to used...

And of course don't forget in the HA SelfIP to set Port Lockdown to allow default.

Check that you can ping the peer HA self IP...
