i4600: Which 10G Fibre ports should I use for my cross connect

My new i4600's have 4 10GB fibre ports in two pairs (5 and 6) and (11 and 12)

 

I am only going to use two, for a cross-connect and LACP.

 

My question, is there an advantage in using one port from each pair? (ie 5 and 11, or 6 and 12 etc) as opposed to using the pair (ie. 5 and 6, or 11 and 12)

 

If there is two cards or buses behind each pair then using one port from each pair would make sense as there might be less risk of failure - but if it's all one piece of silicon behind all four then it doesn't matter.

 

Any opinions or experience, please ?
