F5 VE deployment in Azure VmWare Solution

Hi experts, I have a requirement to migrate an on-prem F5 configuration to a VE in the Azure VmWare Solution (AVS). We will be going with the BYOL deployment. What I am not sure is deploying to the AVS any different than in the regular Azure world? What kind of image am I downloading?

    Hi sandy16 ,

    BIG-IP VE Deployment and Support in Azure VMware Solution. BIG-IP VE deployments of all supported versions is supported in Azure VMware Solution platform. There are no special considerations or requirements for deploying BIG-IP VE in Azure VMware Solution platform as the requirements are the same as in any ESX environment.

    So you have to download the same image VE as for an ESX environment.

      Hello Sebastiansierra 

      Looking for similar requirement but here need to deploy F5 in AVS from scratch. Would like to know if there is any proper design guide and implementation guide (step by step) for deployment of F5 virtual edition in Azure VMware Solution. In Azure VMware Solution, certain components are managed & controller by Azure/VMware (such as NSX-T Tier-0 GW) and customer dont have control. Hence would like to know any limitations or specific considerations for F5 VE such as how it can be deployed or is it like service insertion with NSX-T Tier-0 or Tier-1 GW. Looking for document which has detailed steps and which can guide beginers. It would be helpful if such document URL can be shared. Thank you.
