Figured it out. For some reason, the nested 'if' was causing an issue. Combining into one statement works:

 

when HTTP_REQUEST{ switch -glob -- [string tolower [HTTP::host]] { "host.domain.com"{ if { ! ([class match [IP::client_addr] equals private_net ]) && !
