irule for two web app sharing one domain name

when HTTP_REQUEST { if { [HTTP::uri] contains ".aspx" } {

pool asp_pool

}

else {

pool cmf_pool }

i am new in this irule creation but i am thinking this logic is this correct , and how this can effect the production now i have only CMF app working and i dont have test environment
