LTM VE Backup?

Hi All, was wondering what others are doing to backup F5 LTM VE? Not the typical config/archive UCS backup, but a complete backup of the vm for DR purposes? While it's nice to have the confguration...

I often use the VMware Snapshot feature with the VE. This works well.

But what if the entire datastore were destroyed? The LTM vm and snapshot are now gone. All I have left is my UCS file.
