Is 3.3.3.3 an IP address that is assigned to the BIG-IP? If so, you could bind it to the BIG-IP as a self-IP, then create a route to the external hosts going through the default route upstream of 3.3.3.3.
If this is not feasible, then, as this post describes:
you could have the monitor target a VS on the BIG-IP that performs SNAT. The VS would have a single pool members; namely, the IP:port of the target you wish to monitor.
