Using a proxy with Bigsuds

Does anyone have an example, or can anyone point me to an example of using an http proxy to connect to the F5 with bigsuds? I need to alter my script to connect to various F5s in multiple environmen...

Also, it sounds like http_proxy and https_proxy environment variables might be useful things to try.
