Hi,
With virtual box you can import ova/ovf files natively. What you have to do is to download the ova archive for ESXi servers available on https://downloads.f5.com and import it on virtual box.
You don't need anything else, the virtual machine will be installed directly with all the configuration you need (CPU, RAM, disk...)

You will find a documentation on TMOS implementation here http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_ltm/manuals/product/tmos-implementations-11-5-0.html
Then you will be able to work with LTM.
