"logger: Re-starting mcpd"

Hi All,

i installed 2 Big-IP LTMs for HA, and at the first both Big-IP are running well, but i noticed a week ago that the active one changed its status to INOPERATIVE. The standby big-ip took charge as a active now. I couldn't connect via GUI now to Big-IP1, and when i entered using ssh, i noticed several display as follow :

May 29 10:17:18 LBSVTLBIP1 logger: Re-starting mcpd

May 29 10:17:19 LBSVTLBIP1 logger: Re-starting mcpd

  • Hi Hansen,

If you haven't done so already, I'd suggest opening a case with F5 Support on this issue. They'll be able to review a tech.out and log files from the unit to help diagnose the issue.
