LTM statistics after reboot

Quick question: do the VIP and Pool statistics reset after F5 is rebooted? Statistics that one can see through GUI, like maximum number of connections and Total number of connections.

Thanks.

Statistics will be reset during a reboot:

    uptime;b virtual test_vip stats show

    15:16:38 up 1 day, 7:26, 2 users, load average: 0.15, 0.19, 0.20

    VIRTUAL test_vip - Stats:

    | (cur, max, limit, tot) = (0, 3469, 0, 100207)

    | (pkts,bits) in = (527095, 302.6M), out = (400985, 473.6M)

    | requests (total) = 100150

    uptime;b virtual test_vip stats show

    15:20:50 up 1 min, 2 users, load average: 3.56, 1.18, 0.42

    VIRTUAL test_vip - Stats:

    | (cur, max, limit, tot) = (0, 0, 0, 0)

    | (pkts,bits) in = (0, 0), out = (0, 0)

    | requests (total) = 0

  • Yeah, the stats are stored in memory and lost in a reboot. The perf graphs are stored in RRD data files and preserved through reboots.
