ASM Class Questions

when creating an HTTP Class i can match based on host , URI or Header . URI is part of URL but what is host part ( is this IP address ) ? and what is meant by header ?

    Note that you don't use the regexp command for doing case insensitive comparisons--you use regexp syntax like:

     

     

    (?i)www\.f5\.com

     

     

    to match www.f5.com without case sensitivity.

  • Thanks alot , it explains usage in good details but didnot mention meaning of host or headers ? can u give me example for each
