Best Method to Upgrade From 10.2.3 to 11.1HF5

we have Redundant Pair ( VIPRION C2400 , one Blade ) we are planning to upgrade to Version 11.1HF5 ) . Current version is 10.2.3 . what method do you recommend from the following :

 

1- Backup configuration , upgrade , upload & apply backup if needed .

 

2-Disable HA , backup Configuration , Upgrade , apply backup , configurae HA in version 11 .

 

3- is there any other suggestion , the box is in production .

    i think procedure in manual is fine.

    Firstly, how come not 11.2.1 HF1? Anyway, by installing v11 it will take across the config from your exising 10.2.3 setup so no need to apply the backup. Just install to another volume and then activate it. Of course, backing up the config just in case is always recommended.

     

     

    Agree with nitass - I've used this doc and it served me well.
