    Hi Nickw,

Are we talking about a shared pool of Virtual Desktops here, or Personal Desktops? Windows 2008 R2 or Windows 2012? Are you trying to replace RDWA with a webtop?

    thanks

    Mike

Hi Mike, It is a shared pool of Virtual desktops running on MS 2012 VDI environment. I have never done this type of config before and can only find articles surrounding Citrix technologies for virtual desktops so am really looking for best practice here. Whether that be using a webtop or RDP etc I would appreciate some pointers :) thanks Nick
  • I also get the following if IE is not running in compatibility mode but don't get it with FF.

Error: Unable to display RD Web Access

  • I have received some help from a local F5 SE who has suggested not to use webtop as the rewriting will break the site. Instead to use LTM+APM mode with a pool configured in the access policy and an irule to add /RDWeb to the end of the url.

This has worked however SSO won't work for this. Will update once I have a working SSO config :)

How do you setup that in the F5 (sorry newby)? i tried without success. thank you, Sebastien.
  • Did you get a working solution for this? I'm currently working on something similar RDS not VDI and publishing RD Web Access via APM using a webtop & SSO and getting the same error on Web Access. Error: Unable to display RD Web Access
