it is for sql server and fix protocol profiles. it is introduced in 11.5.0.

Hi nitass, As I remember there is another license which enables FIX (only for new 5k/7k/10k series). Could you please clarify what features are exactly included in LTM Advanced Protocols? Maybe it could be a set of FIX, SSL Forward Proxy, HSM, SDN, Advanced Routing... There is no word about new licenses in the 11.5.1 release notes.

The license name is F5-ADD-BIG-FIX-LL.
I have a strongbox VE at the moment with best bundle feature set, the LTM Advanced Protocols license is listed under Optional section.
So I don't have SQL profile. But have FIX.

F5-ADD-BIG-FIX-LL is low latency license. the use case is low latency performance.
F5-ADD-BIG-ADV-PROCS is advance protocol profile license. the use case is to do layer 7 traffic steering.

There is a new feature in 11.6.0 SIP Message Routing.
Is it something available only with F5-ADD-BIG-ADV-PROCS?Can't find any word about Advanced LTM Protocols on askf5.

on a license set with and without LTM Advanced Protocols, we get the following features that are enabled:tmsh show sys license detail- ltm_dbproxy
- Database Proxy
- ltm_fix
- FIX profile
- ltm_proxy_gtp
- GTP
- message_routing_diameter
- Message Routing Diameter
- message_routing_sip
- Message Routing SIP
